Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Coordinator -- We are looking for someone who loves to work with people, is very organized and has some experience recruiting or managing volunteers. Location: Santa Barbara county

Kitten Coordinator -- We are looking for someone crazy about kittens to take over our Kitten Program. We get in tons of kittens over the kitten season (May-Dec) and they need to be fostered and cared for until they are old enough to be adopted out. We will supply all the equipment, food and training but we need someone to take over the care of all these wonderful babies. This is a big commitment for a special person. Are you a crazy, caring kitten lover? Location: Santa Barbara county

Cattery Volunteers -- Love to clean? Love cats? We need your help!! At least one day a week we need you to help come in and clean our cattery from top to bottom with lots of kitty cuddle breaks, of course. Each day volunteering will take approx 2-4 hours. Location: Mission Canyon, Santa Barbara 

Garage Sale Organizers -- We would like to schedule smaller garage sales through out the year along with our monster rummage sale in the fall. These smaller ones will require someone who has a home in an area of town contusive to garage sales, send out requests for donations via email two weeks before each sale, have a place to accept and store donations at the sale location for three days before the sale and have a truck available to remove remaining items and donate them to a local thrift store. We will help you find volunteers to work the sale and train you on the best way to find donations. Four days of sorting, pricing and selling for each sale. Location: Anywhere!
